I'm not really sure if this is true for most photographer artist, but my website, although has direct links to buy prints, does very little of the selling for me. It tends to be more of portfolio only. In fact, in it's seven years of being out there, it has only produced a sale fully on it's own once. Yep, once in seven years, until today. I have been cleaning it up and getting it caught up over the last week, which is what I was doing today when an email came across saying I had an order. Very cool!
